Evelyne Tumuhairwe is a holder of a Bachelors of Law Degree (LLB) from Makerere University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Law Development Centre. She was called to the bar in 2010.

Evelyne is an enrolled advocate of the High Court of Uganda and other subordinate courts. She is a member of Uganda Law Society and the East African Law Society.

Evelyne’s early part of her career was with RAPS (U) and its sister company Riley Packaging (U) Limited, where she was the in house legal assistant and Human Resource Manager.

Evelyne Tumuhairwe later joined Kyazze & Co. Advocates in 2010, and in 2016, joined practice with Magna Advocates to-date as a Senior Legal Associate.

She has since 2015 been an in-house legal advisor of ASHINAGA Uganda, an international NGO with its base and origin in Japan.

Evelyne’s area of expertise includes practices in Civil and Commercial litigation, Land, Family and Immigration matters, registration and advisory in NGOs and private companies. Her expertise also extends to mediation and settlement of several matters out of court.
